We got here to Ensenada on September 16th Mexican Independence Day. When we got here it was really foggy. My mom and dad saw that there was another boat that had a Canadian flag and a Bluewater Cruising flag on it and that their boat was a Spencer (the same make as ours), so they went over to say “hi”. The people that were on the boat gave us a key to get in and out of the marina, so the first night that we were here, we went and got tacos. They were really good, but I didn’t really like the guacamole in them. Ensenada is cool, but there are no  good beaches that are close. Other than  that, it’s good! I like the weather because it’s really hot in the day and chilly at night. We go for walks  every now and then, twice we went to get milk shakes, once we were walking in the park and we saw a man with about six pappies ! They were some of the cutest  things I have ever seen, and they were for sale! I really wanted one.

In town, there are these little stores that have a bunch of trinkets and the store owners beg for us to go into their stores and buy something. We usually don’t, but during one of our walks I bought a backpack. It’s purple, black and white. Ada and I went for a walk and I bought candied coconut at a dulceria. One of the beaches we went to was quite far away and REALLY sketchy! The stairs had fallen down so we had to climb down a rock wall and when we got down to the bottom I found a syringe …it was really creepy. My mom and dad have made a bunch of friends so far in Ensenada. We haven’t made any yet but I know we will…. eventually.
